I'm FAT

I have been very lazy and very bad luck lately.I felt like black cloud was above me.
But I think the wind has blown it away because I reach home at 730pm today..Wow!! Well, for 3 months I never reach home so early (I meant on working days). That's because office hours is from 9-630pm, even if I leave office at exactly 630pm I might not reach home at 730pm..hehe...

Last 2 days, one of my oldest friend called. So we agreed to meet up for yumcha. What I didn't know was that she has everything planned so carefully. I was tired, I rush to meet her after work and guess what...she brought a friend, who is in MLM (Multi-level marketing, in case u didn't know). I suppose I don't have to elaborate further, u should know the story. I should have guess, old friend suddenly called up for yum-cha, there's always something, either MLM, insurance or they are getting married. Don't mean to offend anyone but it's kinda like the fact.

Considering she's one of my oldest friend, "yum-cha" session was like almost 2 hours, and they even brought me to their training center. They have this machine from Japan, BODY COMPOSITION ANALYZER, which can measure body fat, and I was really amazed, I was wondering what technology is that.....
The guy just entered my age and height, it's a like weighing machine, and within few minutes, the results are out, and guess what,
I got 28% of body fat, when I'm suppose to have only 21%, that means I need to lose 7% of body fat.....*sob* *sob*, and I need to drink more water as the results showed that I only got about 50% water and healthy person should have about 70% of water.
Need to start exercise to burn those extra fats....I have aerobics class next week, let's see how it turns out....

Happy Mooncake Festival

Last minute felt like going back Kuantan but bus ticket sold out!! Crack my head trying to find other ways

  • Take leave on Friday, take 10am bus back to Kuantan, but Sunday ticket to Spore already sold out..
  • Take leave on Monday, take bus back to KL on Friday, follow my sis's car back to Kuantan on Saturday morning, then follow my sis back to KL on Monday, then take bus from KL to Spore, bus ticket still available...
  • Just remember can't take leave on Monday cos boss going for training, so guaranteed cannot take leave...

FINAL DECISION, NOT GOING BACK KUANTAN !!!!

Got these cute little piggies forwarded by my friends to cheer u up on mooncake festivals!!

P/S: I know that it's not related to mooncake festival, but my friend actually attached this to the mail, so enjoy it!

Chiang Mai...

Malaysia's MATTA fair, which is just last weekend if I'm not mistaken.. S'pore has one too...it's called NATAS fair (I forgot what it's stands for?? ) The entry fee is S$3 damn expensive it's like RM6++ leh...
Went NATAS fair to book ground arrangement for my CHIANG MAI trip...this trip is giving me helluva problem..
  1. Thought of self travel but don't want the trouble to manage the "FRIENDS" - there are 6 of us !!
  2. Thought of taking the package from my fren, who quoted me RM395 for 4d3n package and rm595 for 5d4n There's this bl**dy expensive gala dinner which is compulsory for new year's eve.
  3. Called up another travel agent, who quoted rm400 for 5d4n for 2* star hotel, free elephant ride (all bullsh*t la).. thought this is good deal so we booked. Stupid agent called back said no more rooms (%^&#@ !!) ..
  4. Bargain with my fren on his rm595 package, so he said the best he can get for me is rm490, free dunno what thai king dinner and cultural show.
  5. "Beloved fren" went Bangkok and will be back later today so he's only contactable on Monday.
  6. I initiated this trip and was very worried if cannot book hotel.. End up at NATAS fair, and THANK GOD found a good deal, S$192 for 5d4n at 3* hotel, Hope they won't call on Monday and tell me the hotel is fully booked again !!!!

I thought this trip should just cost around RM300.....but it's new year's eve sure got surcharge but didn't expect it would goes up to RM500..................*sigh*

Lesson learnt:- " Don't get tempted by cheap airfares !! "

??

It's a PSP...
It's a PALM...
It's MP4 player...
Nah...it's SUDOKU player (huh ??)
It's kinda of a puzzle..the instruction are pretty simple..
Each Sudoku has a unique solution that can be reached logically without guessing. Enter digits from 1 to 9 into the blank spaces. Every row must contain one of each digit. So must every column, as must every 3x3 square.

Actually my friend bought it..$9.95 for 2..so I bought one from her..she doesn't need 2 as she didn't even know how to play..it's quite fun at first but now it's collecting dust on my table..I prefer to play the manual way, pen and papers..haha..

Here's my review:- :P
- Cheap
- Lightweigh
- Has 999 puzzles
- Sound and flash alert if the same number entered on the same row or column
- Hint button
- Time & score feature
(More pros on the box)
- Exercise your brain (alternative to mahjong..LOL!!)

Cons
- Screen not so clear (maybe my eyesight getting worse?)
- Bad navigation
- No color
- No MP3 player
- No disk space
- No WI-FI
and the list goes on and on and on and .............

Enjoy !! :P

DR

Not Doctor..Disaster Recovery exercise..LOL
Means if something happens, we should know what to do....
Was at the DR center the whole afternoon from 1 to 7pm..So "jia lat" (this term commonly used by Sporean ). I'm one of the Standby Support Staff..Really just "standby" there. Luckily I brought a book else sure "grow mushroom"..LOL!!

In one of our small chat to pass our time, we came up with the topic "blogging"...where some of my colleagues who are parents complaining that children nowadays do this "blog thing"...they don't talk to their parents but they "blog" everything and the whole world probably reading it!! That is actually quite true...that the power of the technology!! It's kinda like the modern day GOD .. errmm...I'm from different generation (ehem..) my purpose of blogging is just to update my friends of my whereabout since i can't call each and every one of them.

Oh yeah, check out this firefox browser that I'm using, it's really cool, it has lotsa tabs and can even display IE leh....haha...

Happy Birthday MOM

Tanks in Bangkok, coup..rings any bell? Something's going on in Thailand now (for those who didn't watch the news) I was so shocked when I saw the news on tue night because my sis just flew there on a business trip on the same morning. I was so worried that I text my sis the next morning and the coup has declared Wednesday a holiday. My sis text me saying that they are staying in the hotel and wait for the news. I suppose they dare not go out in case anything happens but TODAY it's all over the news and newspaper that Bangkok is calm and not as what many thinks...THANK GOD for this. Well I guess my sis can go shopping cos I have asked her to buy few things for me...*wink*

OHh..almost forgot....HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!! (although mom don't surf, and she doesn't even know I got a blog!)

Well, next month is my department's Annual Dinner & Dance. And the theme this year is 70's retro. Am wondering what to wear to look 70's. Any suggestions? Bell bottom, floral short dress? haha..but anyway, don't plan to wear anything special cos it's a Friday nite. So we are suppose to go after work (boring) so some "male colleague" don't even bother to wear anything special..just jeans and t-shirt will do..haha..

Did I mention I bought ticket to ChiangMai? The ground arrangement was so damn expensive probably because it's new year's eve..*sigh*..thought of travelling on our own but there are 6 of us and i don't want to take the trouble to arrange and get blame if anything goes wrong. If there are only 2 of us I would rather travel on my own..alot handicraft in CHiang Mai..can't wait to shop there...haha...:P

I have moved

Hey, this is my new home!
I registered this way back in 2001 and I thought this account was deleted!! (after almost 5 years )
I'm really happy that it's still here!
Jenn and I went to the flea market at Youth Park, beside Orchard Cineleisure.
Not shopping but setting up a stall !! I'm not kidding !
Jenn is selling her imported Korean dresses which are really fancy while I on the other hand made some earrings and macrame bracelet (can't even manage to sell any ah! because there are few stalls selling handmade earrings and theirs are really good stuff!!.. I almost bought it as it was really cheap $5 for 2 pairs...haha)
We reach there about 12pm and set up the stall. We were so excited as this is our 1st time.
The crowd was small as it was still early and blaring HOT!! After about an hour, we felt so down as we didn't manage to sell anything....but about 2 hours later, the crowd was OK as the Singapore idols were just opposite us, so quite of lot of those idols fans were hanging around..
It's a really tiring day as we were there from 12pm to 7pm. Not really 7pm la..we starting packing at 630pm as we were really exhausted.

After the long hard day, we decided to reward ourselves and we went to SENTOSA !! And it's Arabic night and tonite's event is belly dancing...the atmosphere was quite good. Sitting on the floor and enjoying arabic food. There's this beef stew which was really DELICIOUS!! Check out the belly dancing!!

P/S : Can u see the 5 tiny belly dancer? Zoom in abit la...btw, I didn't take this photo, don't blame me :P
